Exactly the part I needed. Even when the “number” was off a bit, the order taker suggested how to correct it and miraculously, the part was perfect.
Thanks for your help and for having what I needed for my 57 year old GE oven.

Great replacement for an Antique GE Oven
Our oven is from 1957 and the bake element had broken. I ordered this one and it came quickly and fit our oven perfectly! I'm not very handy, but installing it was also very easy.
I highly recommend it for anyone with a similar oven.

Worked....but nothing is easy
The part was identical to the original except for the screw tabs that go thru the back of the oven were about 1-2 inches shorter than the original. I was able to get it to work but with some difficulty. Small complaint but an annoyance just the same. It is installed and it works.

Excellent service
The parts were excellent replacements. Installation was more difficult than expected as the wiring leads in the back of the oven were not long enough to easily attach to the bake element.

Operational in less than 5 minutes.
This element matched my old one with only slight variations in the positioning of the small stands that hold the element up off the oven floor. Two new screws to fasten the wires on came with the element. Awesomely fast delivery, 3 days earlier than predicted. PartSelect will always be my go-to appliance parts store.

Till burner was wrong modes. Needed four input. Need refund on tilt burner or replace with correct part.
Oven unit went well and is working. Tilt burner unit was wrong and did not fit. Needs to be replaced by 8 inch tilt burner with four input.
Bake element stopped working. Oven was not getting hot.
Used socket set to remove bolts holding the elements in place, then used a screw driver to remove the wires from the elements. Replaced with new elements, screwed in the wires and reattached the elements to the wall with the bolts. It was easy, it was just a small space to work in.
Removed 2 screws (with 1/4" nut driver) on bracket holding heat element at back of oven. Pull element forward to expose the 2 wires connected to element, remove screws on wire corrections with flat head screw driver. Remove element from oven......Reverse the steps to install new heat element.....very easy job....except I cleaned the oven

Oven only heated at high temps
I first unplugged the stove as that was easier than going to turn off the breaker. I removed both oven racks for more room to work. There were two screws to removed inside the back of the oven. After pulling the element out a few inches I was able to unscrew the two screws that held the wires onto the element. I made sure to note whic
... Read moreh wire went on which side. Then did everything backwards with the replacement element.Plug the oven back in and make sure it works. This was the easiest repair I have ever had to make on any appliance! It's good to note the new element could heat much faster and hotter than the old one. I plan to check the temp when baking. The replacement one also hinged so cleaning in the future will be much easier as well.

Oven Elment Burned Out. Drip Bowls andTrim Rings Severly Tarnished and Very Old. Timer Knobs Broken.
Cleaned oven. turned off power at breaker panel. Removed mounting screws and pulled out oven element 4 inches to expose electrical terminals. Removed terminal screws and removed burned out element being careful not to let wires go back into insulation. Reversed procedure to install new oven element. Slid out old trim rings and drip b

Bake element failed - it kind of broke open in one spot.
Due to this wall oven being vintage 1972, I decided to replace the broil element along with the bake element that had actually failed. The repair was pretty straight forward as seen on the videos, altough it can be somewhat tight to use screw drivers or nut drivers with long handles. You may find that shorty screw drivers or a 1/4 inch
... Read moreratchet wrench and appropriate socket are easier to work with. There were two things that I was cautious about. The first was to be very gentle with the power wires since I didn't know what condition their insulation was in. I tried not to scrape them on the sheet metal opening as I pulled them gently out through the oven insulation. Secondly, I was very, very careful in moving the oven temperature sensor probe out of the way so I could undo the broil element. Before I started the job, I had learned that this probe isn't a separate piece part, it is part of the entire THERMOSTAT ASSEMBLY for the stove and it's not readily available. Furthermore, this assembly costs $250 to $350 !!!! The only negative with this job was that the old broil element has some kind of heat resistant material on the rear of the plate that attaches it to the oven wall. This old material fell apart during disassembly. I kind of pieced it back together during assembly, but I would have liked to have been told I needed this piece (since there wasn't an exploded parts view on the web for me to look at)or a new piece of this material should have been supplied as part of the broil element.
Once I watched the video pertaining to the installation of the part, the job was very easy.

The bottom heating element was not working
This is a forty five year old oven. It was only four screws and it was done. The new part works like a champ! This save me from buying a $800.00 replacement. I removed the two 1/4 screws holding the element to the back of the oven and then took the flat head screws loose from the terminals on the old element. I then put everything back as
