Installed the new timer.

The three bulbs would then remain on, so I loosened them to keep them off. I didn't know that the cooling system also would stop when the door was open, so for two days only the side freezer was operational. When I discovered that, I hot glued the switch button off, while I searched for a replacement part. The replacement part was an exact duplicate. A simple prying out of the old switch - using a screwdriver, and the reconnection of the two wires connectors to the new part, and clicking back in place ... done. Seriously, it took two minutes.

For easy installation I removed the whole shelf that the deli drawer track attaches to, afterwards simply remove the 1 and only small screw, and slide track out, installation is very easy, simply slide track into slot on one end, line up small hole and tighten small screw, it's a good idea to clean the shelf before installation, it looks better and removes and dirt or fingerprints that may have been left behind during installation.

Remove the snack pan.
Remove the glass shelf.
Turn it upside down.
Remove the back Phillips screw.
Remove the broken rail.
Install new rail and replace screw.
Done!

I crossed my fingers an hoped the part would get to our remote cabin in Oquossic, Maine. It arrived by Fed Ex during our second week. I unpacked it and slid it into place. No harm/no foul! Whew! Imagine what the rental company would have charged for the repair. I paid $36 with shipping.

removed food from freezer section removed fan guard, partially remove ice maker, remove back panel, then fan assembly,disaasembled fan motor from brackets, fan from motor, grommet from bracket. assembled grommet in bracket, fan blade on motor, motor in bracket, fan assembly back in compartment, installed back panel,then ice maker, replaced fan guard and food. no more noise.

Took out old put new in. Watched a u tube, no problems

after watching how easy it was to get to the evaporator fan motor on u-tube, I took out the motor to inspect it......the motor had about 1/8 inch shaft end play and a slight amount of play on the shaft, the rubber grommets looked OK.....I then put it back together......since the motor was the only moving part in this location I figured it had to be the part making the noise, so I ordered a motor and 2 grommets …...the replacement motor also had 1/8 inch end play on the shaft, but no play on the shaft....I installed the new parts and it has been a week now and no noise.....SUCCESS!...….the shaft on the motor protrudes from the motor, and the fan is mounted about 1 1/4 inch away from the bearing in the motor and the fan is unsupported, so I ASSUME that the slight amount of play on the shaft caused some harmonics which caused it to make noise some of the time, but not all of the time......

Removed broken switch with plastic scraper (press tension latch on bottom), moved two wire terminals to the new switch and pressed the new switch into the hole.

removed cover over fan, four screws. removed two screws ,that holds fan in place,removed two more screws that holds fan in bracket,then reinstalled

My father called and asked me if I knew where he could get a new switch light for his refrigerator. I came across your web site and found the part right away. I got the model # off the fridge, ordered the part online. The part was fairly cheap and was at my house 2 days after I ordered it. It was the exact part and I installed it in about 15 minutes and everyting worked out fine and easy and cheap, under $15 total to fix the issue. All I needed to do was use a flathead screwdriver to "pop" out the old switch, remove the 2 wires off the wire connection points, put the wires on the new switch and push it back into place. easy. Great place to get exact parts and fast shipping.

I located the light switch at the bottom of the area where the door closes. I just popped it out with a small screwdriver and installed the new switch. A 2 wire connecter and small clip is all there is to it.

I pulled the bulb out to see if it was the bulb, no! I took the switch out, of course with the refer unplugged, and jummped out the wires and the light came on. Ordered my switch and put it in in 10 seconds and then there was light! Thanks again for showing me the light!
