FFEF4015LWC Frigidaire Range - Instructions

Installation of the temparature sensor, one of the technician recommended parts took no time, just two screws and a snap off/snap on part. It did not fix the problem. I then replaced the main control panel, which requires more work, but didn't solce the ussue either. I then replaced the thermal fuse, which wasn't mentioned by tech support, and required much more disassebly of the top panels of the stove, with still no fix to the problem. I am waiting to replace the thermostat heat sensor unit, the only other part in the circuit controlling power supply, requiring removal of the stove top again,

I just took the old ones out and replaced them with the new ones. It took less than 5 minutes.

Just pulled the old cook top burner out and put the new one in .it took about 1 1/2 minutes

I was required to remove the control panel to access the plug as it had been broken and the switch had been shoved into the unit . It would have been extremely simple if the plug had remained on the outside surface

2 screws disconnected old one and pulled out the new one in put in opposite way. The representative was so helpful, part came fast. thank you

Removed the wires that I could, then terminal block. Installing the new terminal block was very easy; however the wires that arced were fused to the terminal bock screws and needed to be cut and new connectors had to be put on the wires to allow them to be reattached to the block safely.
Once all was replaced and reinstalled the oven has worked great. The length of the repair was increased because of the melted parts and having to run to the store to get the new wire connectors big enough to fit on the wires. If we were simply replacing the block and had not encountered the melted ends, it would have been a very quick and easy repair.

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

Extremely easy. Two screws and electric connection that had easy pop on-off connection.

All you do it unplug the old one and plug in the new one.

Very easy just had to pull the wire up that holds it secure.

on the back side of the wall oven the sensor wire was ziptied tight. we had to totally pull oven out of its wall space, remove back panel, unhook zip tie, feed through sensor hole around insulation, connect and then replace back and return and relevel the oven. I have

Turn off circuit breaker
Open oven remove two oven racks
Position flash light
Remove two Phillips head screws that hold the element in place
Gently slide out element until you locate the two small wires
Gently Detach the two small wires from the back of the burned out element
Position the new element in the bottom of the oven and attach the two small wires to the back of the new element
Gently slide the element back in place and replace the two Phillips screws that hold the element in place
Make certain the new element is lying flat on the bottom of the oven
Replace the two oven racks
Turn on the circuit breakers and test the oven

Followed instructions on website. Went perfectly.

After the smoke cleared and things cooled off, I switched off the circuit breaker for the stove and unplugged it. Then I used a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the to pack panel on the range. Then saw the circuit board that was damaged--all other wiring was in great shape and unaffected. Removed 5 stab connector wires from board after taking a photo of the colored wires and where each was connected (also marked on piece of paper color/position of each wire), and a plug in pin connector. Then unscrewed the electronic circuit board from the range front panel by removing 4 of the same type Phillips head screws that secured it. Luckily, found PartSelect website, who had the original OEM circuit board with the original white overlay that sticks to the front of the circuit board. Ordered the board after speaking to a customer service rep from PartSelect (who was very patient and helpful with me!), and it arrived in perfect shape and securely packaged in 5 days. Installed the replacement board, attached the wires to the plug in connectors and plugged in the pin connector to the pins on the board. Restored power by turning on circuit breaker and then plugging in the stove. It works perfectly!! Note: I also found a great video online which showed how to remove and replace the board. Also, I looked at circuit boards from other vendors on the internet, but they looked a little 'different' from the original one on the range, and I didn't mind paying a little bit more to get a genuine part that would function perfectly! Will purchase parts from PartSelect in the future. Very helpful customer service staff!

There is an installation video , but it was so easy, and if you clean your drip pans from those inevitable spills you can do this. I have zero mechanical abilities and I did. The website makes it easy to find your part, and the original literature you got with your appliance will direct you where to find the Model # and serial # on your Frigidaire Range. Order your part on line, get it in the mail and insert the Element yourself.Very happy with my transaction.
