CDG20R7WC Crosley Dryer - Instructions

I took apart the dryer by unscrewing the top and the front, front comes off by just undoing the two top screws on the inside. I figured it was something to do with the rollers since the noise was ciclycal. The hardest part was to put the drive belt back on. It helps to have a second person for about 5 minutes.

After watching the great install video, I followed his lead and within 20 min had my dryer door fixed. This dryer was bought in 1986 and I really thought I was looking at buying a new dryer. How wonderful that I could fix it for less than $11. Easy to find web site, easy to find part, great instructions and fast delivery!

I just removed 1 screw that held the safety thermostat in and replaced it. Then I removed the long screw that holds the heating element and the high limit fuse in place. Replaced the fuse, cleaned out the lint duct area. Closed the dryer lid and pluged it in, it worked fine.

Lifted top from dryer and fuses were in the back of drum just below heating coil. Used nut driver to remove heating coil to gain access to fuses and replaced them. Process was quick and easy. Diagram from this site made locating fuses elementary!

P.S. I have no certified experience in appliance repair.This was my first time ever and dryer works perfect.

Pulled the old seal off then pushed the new one in place.

I took out the old worn out part and replaced with the one I order.

Removed power and front panel, removed broken latch, pushed in new latch and replaced the front panel and power. Done

discovered it was a broken latch. Ordered the latch, only took 2 days to arrive and all I had to do was remove the broken latch and snap in the new one. I saved myself a service call. I'm very happy!!!!!!

I ordered this part to replace broken lint filter. Shipping estimate was 3-5 working days. I had the part 2 days after I ordered it!! I was very surprised and extremely pleased. If I need anymore appliance parts, I know exactly where to go!

Lint filter replacement is routine maintenance. operating without a filter causes problems, a dryer sheet was sucked thru the opening and into the blower wheel, causing a lot of noise, and shaking because of the unbalance. I popped the top of the machine up, removed two screw holding the front in place, removed the front, gaining access to blower.
Removed the offending sheet, straighted the bent fin, and put everything back together again. Installeed the new filter, now it runs smooth, and quiet. mission accomplished.

I watched video provided on appliance repair. I followed the steps and exchanged out old parts for new and now my dryer works like a new dryer. thank you appliance repair for fast shipping.

I pulled the old one off and put the new one on. It took about 3 minutes because I also replaced the old lint filter.

Popped top open, matched up parts, changed them. Dryer cranked up,got hug from wife. Done life is good.

After searching you site for other similar problems, we ordered the part that we thought we needed, it arrived within 3 days, my husband installed the part and the dryer started. The information you have on your site was great, it gives you an idea about what to test before having to call a repairman. There were several people that had the same problem and with their description it was easy to test the fuse. Thanks it saved us alot of money and time. I removed two wires from the coil valves. Then I removed two screws from the bracket that holds the coil valves in place. I removed the faulty coil valves and replaced them with the new ones. Put the bracket back on and replaced the two screws and wires. It took almost 5 minutes. The dryer is like new once again.
