Jenn-Air Microwave Touchpad And Control Panel Assembly
2.) Slid oven out from cabinet about 6 inches.
3.) Removed screws that attached the console to the microwave/oven combo.
4.) Carefully unplugged two electrical connections from the console and also detached the ground wire.
5.) Since my unit has the Stainless Steel finish…I simply removed the stainless steel frame surrounding the broken console by carefully bending the 3 tabs that held it in place across the bottom of the panel. I then installed the stainless steel decorative frame on the new console.
6.) I attached the new console, reinserted the micro/oven into the cabinet and restored power. 7.) After selecting my model micro/oven combo from a list on the new console, it self-booted. Minor programming was required for the clock and graphics…and it was good to go! Read more...

Control Console failed—F2E1 Stuck/Shorted Key
1.) Unscrewed Microwave/oven combo from cabinet (4 screws)2.) Slid oven out from cabinet about 6 inches.
3.) Removed screws that attached the console to the microwave/oven combo.
