This is the replacement water tube kit for your refrigerator. This tubing is made of plastic, is 1/4 inch in diameter, and comes with 2 inserts. This tube may be longer than the original tube, and may need to be cut. This water tube transports water to the ice and water dispensers. If your refrigerator is leaking, or if the ice and water dispensers are not dispensing properly, you may need to replace this tube. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

water dispenser started leaking
i wasn't sure it was the inlet valve unit because the leak was at the water dispenser in the freezer door. after some research it looked like the water inlet valve located in the back lower part of the refrigerator was the problem. to replace, take off the cardboard cover, about 6 screws, you have access to the water inlet valve, disconnect the hoses (i think it goes without saying that you should have turned off the water to the frig) replace the inlet valve, connect hoses, turn water back on and you'll be back in business. very easy repair. Water was leaking from the valve/pump for the icemaker
Remove the screws that hold the old valve to the side of the refrigerator. Next, detach each plastic tube and attach that tube to the same place on the new valve, and repeat (there are many valves). Afterward, I realized that many of the plastic tubes had become brittle and had mineral deposits, so I bought additional tubing for ice makers and replaced each tube, one at a time. Read more...

This is a water fill tube which is used in refrigerators. It attaches to the water inlet valve and supplies water to the components in your appliance that need it, such as the icemaker and water dispenser. You will need to replace your fill tube if you notice it is leaking or damaged. This replacement tube is approximately 7 inches in length, and it is made entirely of plastic. Water leaking from bottom of fridge
The line going from the ice maker fill valve ruptured and leaked water on the floor. The outlet fitting for the ice maker water inside the freezer was plugged with ice which caused the pressure to build up in the line and rupture it. The discharge tube inside was full of ice because the ice maker fill valve was old and was leaking ever so slightly. This allowed water to exit into the discharge tube gradually and build up ice to the point of blocking the discharge tube. Read more...

Replace fill tube, check to be sure that it entered ice maker properly. Replace hose and clamp.

First I remove protection cover,then removed the elbow pressing in on the gray coupling housing at each end of the elbow.Mark each piece of water hose before removing the elbow with marker(black)it helps when replacing new elbow.The new elbow slides on each end of water hose ,connect the end to the hose coming out of the door first. The actuator on the water dispenser was broken and the water filter was leaking
The actuator was easy . . . just remove 6 screws (3 outside and 3 inside) and pull out assembly. The actuator popped out and I replaced it.

The water filter replacement was easy once I figured out how to use the quick connect fittings from the tube to the water filter assembly (see Youtube). Read more...
