Gibson Refrigerator Kickplate Grille
Everything was looking great untill 2 of the three parts went missing durning shipment. PartSelect refunded the money and sent out new parts. Chalk one up for FedEx. They said they deleiverd the packages(s) When in fact I got shipment 1 of 2. 2 Never showed up.
The repair went great and if it wasnt for FedEx, the shiping went great. Read more...

Gaskets magnet was tearing out. Door Handle was Broken off, Kickplate was missing.
The gasket came off as one piece, so all that was needed was to push the new one on. The Door Handle was broken off when we attempted to move it, the repair was removing 3 screws and replacing them with the new Handle and screws. The Kickplate just clipped into place. Everything was looking great untill 2 of the three parts went missing durning shipment. PartSelect refunded the money and sent out new parts. Chalk one up for FedEx. The plastic kickplate which conceals the evaporator coils had broken one of the four plastic snap-in connectors, allowing the kickplate to droop down upon the right side creating an unsightly appliance appearence.
Although a fine refigerator from a performance standpoint, a drooping evaporator coil kickplate created an unsightly appearence as result of a broken snap-in plastic connector. The repair should have been fairly simple, merely requiring the removal of the old plastic kickplate by depressing the plastic connectors upon each end to release the original kickplate, followed by snapping the new kickplate into position at most, a five minute repair. However, although the replacement kickplate I received from PartSelect for $58.67 (plus shipping), does contain all four plastic snap-in connectors as required, the replacement kickplate had not been molded to rest flat upon the front refrigerator trim, properly concealing the evaporator coils (as the original kickplate mounted prior to sustaining a broken snap-in connector). However, after replacing this plastic kickplate, my refrigerator continues to suffer from a pitiful, drooping kickplate upon one end. Although PartSelect has always come through for me upon previous repair part orders, in this case the better choice would have been to dismissed my desire for retaining the factory appearence of this expensive appliance, and simply apply adhesive to the original kickplate instead.
