Drain hose was missing

My friend bought a used dishwasher at a garage sale, the previous owner had thrown away the drain hose because it was "nasty" they said....remember it could have been cleaned. When I went to install it, I removed the old washer, and discovered that the old hose would not fit on the replacement dishwasher. Drain hose was leaking.

I went to Youtube to get an idea of how to approach the repair. First turn off the electric power to the dishwasher. Then turn off the water valve that's connected to the dishwasher. Then disconnect both electrical and water lines connected to the dishwasher. Then remove the dishwasher from under the counter. Then place the dishwaher upside down. My flow tube had a hole in it

Initially, I received an E15 error. I evaluated for leaks but couldn't find anything except for water in the bottom of the dishwasher after about 30 minutes of the initial cycle. After discovering the hole in the flow tub, I order the part. It came a few days later & replace the part within a 15 minutes of receiving it. I didn't think it would resolve the issue but it did.
