The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. This is a genuine OEM sourced component which is specially made for Poulan and Husqvarna chainsaws. The are two functions of the clutch drum assembly. It encases the clutch and when the engine gets up to a certain speed the clutch will engage the drum assembly. The sprocket which is part of the drum assembly is the part that drives the chain. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this part. Does the washer behind the clutch assembly between the motor and the clutch come with the clutch or gear assembly?
