do these ever fail intermittently a start working again for a while?

Hello David, thank you for getting in touch. Yes, a malfunctioning dispenser control board can most probably cause the issue you mentioned. If your appliance is facing this problem, we would recommend replacing the dispenser control board, part number PS8758671, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!

Hello, My refrigerator completely quit freezing and cooling ! The light inside both compartments is on and the compressor is not running!There is no lighting on the interface! Could this be the problem? Thanks!
