Based on our research, here are the steps that should help you: 1) Unplug the power cord before conducting any repair. 2) First pull off the door trim. 3) Pull the gasket back and detach the gasket retainer from the door liner. 4) Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws securing the old door latch. 5) Install the new door latch by inserting it into the gasket retainer. 6) Replace the screw to secure. 7) Place the edge of the gasket retainer behind the lip of the door frame. 8) Tuck the retainer spring into the slot in the liner then snap the retainer back into place. 9) Reinstall the door trim. 10) Plug the power cord back in and confirm that the door closes and latches properly.
