... Read mored not work for that specific process. Door did not want line up exactly the way it came off, causing some concern about the door lock, and possible leaking. After install, it seems to work ok on those accounts. Have only run large bulky items since, which cause many "OE" issues. have not tried a normal load yet, but I think it will be ok.

Old smelly boot seal ... 10 years old, bottom drain in boot plugged with dog hair.

Step by step instructions were clear and concise. Easy job. Saved hundreds by not having a repair person come to the house.
Our washing machine is 5 years old and the rubber door boot seal developed mildew around the inside of the boot. Was time to replace. I believe part of the problem was there is and small drain hole in the bottom of the door boot that over the years clogged up with lint from the clothing. After boot

Reinstallation of front and back door gasket retaining rings
Do not start this project without the required spring expansion tool for the retaining ring springs. Nearly impossible without it.

I placed a large item in the washer. The washer stopped during cycle to readjust (unbalanced) items in washer. Did that and then it happened again. Now the rubber gasket/liner is not round in some places. The washer still works though. Is there a way to replace this part?
