Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is the main latch assembly for various models of Samsung microwaves. This assembly is a main component for the door of the microwave that features three switches that detect the door itself and hold the switches in place. If your microwave and its fans are running when the door is open, a single switch on this assembly or all of them are bad and must be replaced for your microwave to turn off. This OEM assembly is built of a plastic chassis and only features the three switches, but not the securing screws necessary, and will require a screwdriver to replace.

It appears that this body latch assembly #62 (rvm 1625) includes the 4 switches (# 63, 2 x #64, and #66) and the latches 2x #65. Is that True, so that if i purchase this assembly, i don't need to buy the other parts?

My Samsung microwave turns on when the door opens. When the door is closed, it operates normally. All other features appear to work properly. I tried resetting the circuit breaker but the problem persists. I read in other posts that the problem is with the door switch(s). What options are available for parts? Ala carte? Full assembly? Please advise.

Hello Jack, Thank you for the question. There are three switches for this model. The Top and Bottom switch Part #: PS4131192 (2 required) and the Middle Part #: PS4225460.
