Is there a simple way to determine why the ice and water dispenser do not work?
For model number RF323TEDBBCAA
Hello and thank you for writing.
Most of the time this problem is caused by an aftermarket or defective or clogged water filter. Please make sure the filter was recently changed with an OEM filter PS4138224. If that is ok, then just make sure that there is water coming into your unit as if it is blocked the dispenser will not work. If you have water coming in then the dispenser solenoid PS4163419 might have gone faulty and needs to be replaced. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
My ice maker continues to ice up and clog after being cleared. I’ve noticed evident space in dispensing boot I believe that part is PartSelect Number PS8762357. I also believe there is another gasket or 2 should be replaced. Please provide your expert advice.
For model number RF32FMQDBSR
Hello Scott, thank you for your question. We do not see any gaskets that goes with Cap PS8762357. However, we also recommend replacing the Ice Case PS11718036. Good luck with this repair.
