Will not power on,I checked noise filter seems fine! 120v going in 120v coming out
For model number WM3455HS
Hi Douglas,
Thank you for the question. The locker switch assembly may be defective. The locker switch assembly is a part for your washing machine and tells the washer that the door is closed and locked into place. If the switch has shorted out and not locking, it is no longer delivering the message to the machine and it will not latch into place. If you find that your door will not close, open, or start, it is more than likely an issue with the locker switch assembly. The switch is located behind the front panel. You will need to remove the gasket to reach the switch.
Hope this helps!

Would this cause the washer machine not to turn on? Like not allow it to power on?
For model number Kenmore 11031633611
Hello James, thank you for your question. Yes, if the noise filter is defective it can prevent the machine from starting or turning on. There can be more reasons behind this problem like a defective locker switch assembly, lid latch assembly, and faulty door strike. We hope this helps. Please feel free to contact us if you have any follow-up queries, our customer service is available seven days a week.

On/Off button works sometimes and but mostly it doesn't no matter how many times it is pushed. All other switches work as advertised.
For model number wm2140cw
Hello Donald, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, if the on/off button is not working, you may need to check the display power control board, part number PS3623244, to fix the issue. Before replacing the control board you may need to check whether the start button is properly pressed or not. We hope this solves your problem!
Dishwasher has three light bar on screen but won't start its an LG
For model number LDS5540ST
Hello Devon, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the switches on the door lock, PartSelect Number PS5574492. If the switches can not recognize the door is closed it will not allow it to start. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
No power to unit. Wife said she smelled something burning and dishwasher shut down before she came out to investigate. Control panel or noise filter?
For model number LDF7774ST
Hello Scott, thank you for writing. We recommend checking to see if anything had fallen on the heating element PS7788065 like food debris or a plastic item. If the burning smelled " electrical" then it may be Electronic Control PS11710963. We hope this helps.

No power to dishwasher. Confirmed that outlet had power coming out.
Turn off circuit breaker. Turn off water at shutoff valve usually located under sink. Disconnect water line from dishwasher. Disconnect wires for the power feed from cord, Marked corresponding wires upon removal for re-installation. Remove 2 mounting screws that secure dishwasher to counter. Slide dishwasher out from counter and turn upside down. Use a blanket to prevent scratching of surfaces. Locate component on the back portion of the dishwasher. Unplug 2 wiring harnesses. My part was held on by 2 phillip screws. One in front, the other in the back along the leg bracket support. Once removed, reverse the order of removal. The i a You Tube video you can locate fr this removal. They said that you needed to release a clip to get the part out. Mine had a screw holding it on the back side. This difference cause about an extra 1/2 hour before I was able to figure out that there was NO clip that was being shown on the video. After that, The replacement went smoothly and we were having the dishes washed later that day.

Great Part! Fixed the problem.
After doing some research on-line, this part had a 99% rating of being the cause for my dishwasher not to turn on. I do not have a multi-voltmeter to perform the required testing that is shown on You Tube to confirm that this ,in fact, the part failure. I liked my odds so I purchased the product. Other than a mistake in the You Tube video which showed that you had to release a small tab with a screwdriver to remove this part (actually was held in place by a phillips screw),the part was easy to install. Once I turned the power back on, the dishwasher started to work in it's cycle when the part had failed. Has been working properly for over 3 weeks and is quiet just as it was when first purchased.

Finally washer is working!
It worked and my washer is up and running. The repair told us it was the mother board, which was wrong and the we traced back to this part. Very happy!
