The microwave operates fine...problem is the springs at back of button that open door came off. i purchased new spring but can;t get it to remain on back posts after opening the door with it.
For model number LRM1250W
Hi Darlene,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest taking a look at those back posts and seeing if they are also broken or not. It sounds like they may be and that is why you are having an issue installing the new spring. Good luck with your repair.

How do I install the spring that holds the push button door opener?
For model number LRM1250W/01
Hello Darlene,
Thanks for your question. You will want a service technician to install this part as the door contains
shielding components. The technician needs to test the microwave for any leaks in the shield before you use the microwave.
I hope this helps.

not all control buttons worked, including button for the light under the microwave
1.Disconnected microwave from power 2.Put spring into middle round opening of the button compartment 3.Snapped in new button. So far 20 second job! 4. Removed front control panel from the microwave. Located Micro Switch,(on the left side connected with two snap-in wires).Pull out wires, pull out the switch. Replaced faulty switch with the new one. Snapped in two wires. Very easy. However, need short 2" philip screwdriver to be able to unscrew screw holding the old switch. Few minutes job! 5. Attached front panel. 6. Connected microwave back to power. Problems gone all work fine.
