I replaced the temp sensor it didn't need to be thought that was the problem but the temperature does not stay hot i do pre heat i got to bake and then the temp takes a while to get there and when it does the tempurature drops and doesn't cook it just drops down what is wrong and what part do i need to replace the tempurature control itself not the sensor ??
    For model number FPES3085KFF
Hello Barbara, thank you for your question. If the sensor was replaced and didn't fix the issue the control board should be replaced. That is part number Electronic Control Board Part Number: PS2368654.

My oven does not heat up. Stays on 100f. I took the high range thermostat (318578506) out and tested its resistance and got 0.3 something ohms. So figured it was good. After i put it back the oven works. Then weeks later the same issue. I removed the thermostat again and put it back and it works again. Any ideas?
    For model number FFEC3024LB
Hello Sunil, Thank you for the question. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!

The cool down fan continues to run, has been running all night, what needs to be done?
For model number oven model 790.48783901
Hi Ed, Thank you for your question. The cool down fan will run until the area around the microwave has cooled. Units over a range or oven may automatically turn on the exhaust system when the area around the microwave becomes too hot. The exhaust system cannot be shut down until the temperature returns to a safe level. If it is not turning off and the area around the microwave is cool, then you will need to check the thermostat, the control board and the door switches to see if they are causing this issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Is there a thermal circuit for this oven, fuse or a switch? After self cleaning my oven won’t heat past 100 degrees.
    For model number EW30EW65PSB
Hi Paula, Thank you for your question. There is no separate fuse from what I am seeing underneath your model information. I would suggest checking your elements, and your temperature sensor inside of your oven with a multi meter. The elements should read anywhere between 0 - 50 ohms of resistance and the temperature probe should read anywhere between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If all three of those parts are working inside of your oven, then you may want to check the control boards on your appliance. Good luck with your repair.

The top oven of my double wall oven setup isn't working properly (its not maintaining temp), the first thing i thought it was the thermostat to which i realized what i was looking at was the temperature sensor. I recently replaced the temp sensor and the top over is still not heating up, i set both ovens to the same temp at the same time and when i checked on after 20min bottom was around 280 while the top is around 147. What i did notice is that the exhaust fan for the top oven was blowing real hard as if its cooling down the oven when it should be heating up. The question is would replacing the actual thermostat fix this issue? In the diagram i am seeing only seeing 1 thermostat, is only one needed to control both ovens or 1 for each? If its not the thermostat would it be the chip board, whats throwing me off if its only 1 thermostat controlling 2 ovens wouldn't both ovens not heat properly? Thanks
    For model number FFET3025PSD
Hello Warren, Thank you for your question. If you already replaced the temperature sensor for the upper oven, then it is likely that it is a faulty control board and the control board would need to be replaced, yours is under part PS1528196 for your model. Hope this helps!

I set oven at 350 and it comes up to temp. Display stays at 350 but temp drops. I hit "convection" enter "350" and it shows oven temp as low as 250. I push start and it comes up to temp only to fall again.

Hi. My frigidair stove is showing error code f30. The probe, wiring and control panel checks out good. Will the high limit switch produce this code. Thanks
For model number fridigdair stove CGDS3065KF7
Hello and thank you for writing. The F30 and F31 codes differ slightly, even though they both indicate a problem with the oven temperature sensor. Specifically, the F30 code indicates the probe could be broken or unplugged or its wires could be broken or damaged. In rare cases the high limit thermostat can cause this, more likely is a faulty main terminal block PS471605 or the wiring connected to it. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Thermostat for oven cook elements. Cooling fan is a misnomer-the fan still worked!
First of all I am not Betty, I am her husband. Second I and a friend pulled the range out of the countertop (which was not necessary). The top can be raised on it hinges and the plate under the burners can be removed by taking out 8 to 19 screws and there is the thermostat looking at you. After doing this once and knowing where the thermostat is, the job could be done in less that an hour.. INSTRUCTIONS: Turn OFF the circuit breaker. Remove the burners. Remove the plate under the burners. Change the thermostat (making sure to place in correct direction as the one removed). Reassemble, turn on circuit breaker, test oven heat.
