How do you access this part in upper oven?
For model number 79048183000
Hi Vince,
Thank you for your inquiry. Before beginning any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Open and remove the oven door. You would need to lift from the back of the oven bottom liner in order to get the panel out. Lift up on the panel then slide it toward the back and then lift it out of the opening. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

How do you remove the lower heating element from the upper over. What is the sequence of disassembly?
For model number Frigidare FGET 3065 PW
Hello Don,
Thank you for your question. You'll need to remove power to the unit and remove the oven from the wall in order to remove the rear panel and access the hidden bake element. There is a cover you remove to remove the element from there. You will see the wires going to the element. Hope this helps!

I need to replace the bottom hidden bake element (#wci-318601604). From the q&a, it looks like i get to it from the back side by removing the shield and lifting it from the bottom. Is that correct?
For model number EI30EW35JS1
Hello Randy, thank you for your question. Yes, the bottom of the actual oven (the oven bottom panel) is removed by lifting from the back of the panel. Lift up on the panel then slide it toward the back and then lift it out of the opening. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Last night, I baked a dish. Before the dish was done the temperature decreased from 350 unto 132*F. It would not go any higher.
Today, I turned the oven to (350) bake then broil. The oven would come on and so would the fans. However, no heat at all. Thank you in advance for any advice.
For model number 790-48039800
Hi Sam,
Thank you for contacting us. If the oven is not heating the issue may be with the oven sensor. The oven temperature sensor is the part that monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. Before removing this part from the oven and testing it with a multimeter for continuity, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet. To test the sensor, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine what the correct reading should be for your model, as this varies from model to model. To test it for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will need to check the elements, the electronic control board, the terminal block and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

Bonjour j'ai reçu mon élément et il y a du bois te taqué dessus est-ce que je dois l'enlever
For model number Cgew3065kbb
Bonjour Luce, merci pour votre demande. Le bois aurait été placé là pour protéger l'élément pendant le transport, nous vous recommandons donc de le retirer. Bonne chance avec votre réparation.
Hello Luce, Thank you for your inquiry. The wood would have been placed there to protect the element during shipment, so we would recommend removing it. Good luck with your repair.

Oven is at 350 and up to temp but seems too low. If you shut it back off and then start again, it says the temperature is 200. What might be the problem?
For model number FGET3065PBD
Hi Ken, thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven thermostat, part number PS11758156. Use a multimeter to check the thermostat. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
Where is oven temperature sensor. How do i replace hidden baking element
For model number LFEW3026TFA
Hi Larry, Thank you for your question. The oven temperature sensor is located inside of your oven cavity, usually in one of the top corners. You'll need to remove power to the unit and remove the oven from the wall in order to remove the rear panel and access the hidden bake element. There is a cover you remove to remove the element from there. You will see the wires going to the element. Hope this helps!

Self clean was performed yesterday, after that no heat from either element. I couldn’t have lost both elements at the same time. Maybe temp sensor?
For model number C970-418392
Hello Mike, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Oven Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps.

Lower oven would heat to temperature, but would not continue to maintain temperature.
Troubleshoot element by disconnecting the element leads from relay board and test for acceptable resistance across leads. In my case the element had tested open with no resistance.
******You may not need to remove oven depending on how the framing under the oven is constructed.
**** Before you begin, disconnect power from the oven.
1.Remove two screws under oven, directly below rear of element door, and remove the metal piece the screws held in place. This will free up the back of the element access door panel. 2.Remove front trim strip on front bottom of oven, this will expose two screws directly behind trim strip. Remove the two screws behind the trim strip. This will free up the front of the element access door. 3. Lower element access door. If you can open the element door enough to disconnect the element wire leads and get the element out, you can swap out the element now and will not need to pull your oven out of the wall. If you can't open the access panel to fully access and replace element, slide the oven out until you can get the access door open and prop the front of the oven up on something sturdy you have laying around. In my case it was the good old yeti cooler. I would seriously consider removing the oven doors before you slide the oven out. It will make the oven alot less tippy by removing the weight from the front off the appliance. The element wires are short, you may need to disconnect them to get the element access door all the way open. 4. Install the new element and reassemble using these instructions in reverse order. 5. Reconnect power. 6. Make a batch of cookies.
