Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
had moved into new house and discovered freezer door gasket incompletely sealing tried using home warranty service but decided trying rather than 100$ service fee. ordered gasket and watched several u-tube videos.
Placed new gasket into dryer,( recommended by 2 u tubes) high heat for about 10 minutes and was a snap getting softened gasket into little tiny slot actual placement was done twice as there was a twist in the seal i missed the first time so did do twice but was so easy this way was almost sad thinking it would have been 100$ deductible having someone do it and who knows what normal cost would have been......thanks u tube

Gaskets didn't seal well, were moldy
Would have been an easy job but the bottom channel of the refrigerator door that the gasket snaps into was rusty and had to be cleaned out with a screw driver. Took some working with it to figure out why it wasn't snapping in hence the long time to fix it.

The freezer door gasket went much better. It had been folded for shipping and had to be heated per the instruction to ensure a seal. That was easier than I expected it to be.

The seal seems fine now. No moisture. I wish I had done this sooner!

Hello Mike, Thank you for the question. We base our prices on what we are charged by the manufacturer for the parts. We try to keep our prices as low as possible but do also have to keep them at a level to help cover our costs. We hope this helps to explain the reasoning behind the prices!

How hard is it to replace it?Do you need to remove the door/other parts or easy? Do you have guide?or youtube video. Thanks!

Hello Josef, thank you for contacting us. It is easier to install if you remove the door and lay it flat but others have left the door installed. You will need to heat the new gasket with a hair dryer or soak in warm water once you open the package. The way GE packs the gaskets will give them twists ect. but heating will allow them to take form again. You can pull the old gasket off the door and once removed you can see the channel the new gasket will fit into. Just push the lip of the gasket into the channel. Most customers have said it was a easy repair. Here is a video link that may help. Good luck with the repair! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTy1m10qq9E
