Hi this would be my first time repairing a dryer...dryer error keeps reading “door open” assuming this may be the door switch. Error code E66 heater...unsure which part to buy except for the switch. If you can provide me the correct part/number for my model dryer

Thank you for your question. Yes, you will probably want to check your door switch to make sure that it is working correctly. The E66 error code does indicate that there is a problem with the circuit. If your door switch is fine, then you will probably want to test both of your thermal fuses (or limiters as we have listed them). You can test all three parts with a multi meter. I hope that helps.
