Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This valve solenoid kit is a 120-volt component designed to regulate the flow of water and steam within espresso machines, ensuring consistent pressure and optimal brewing performance. Common symptoms of a failing solenoid include buzzing sounds, low pressure, leaks, or uneven brewing. Replacing this part can restore proper function and improve overall machine reliability. The kit typically includes the safety valve, solenoid coil, and valve assembly. Always verify compatibility with your specific model before installation.

Dispense issue solved
A fairly easy repair, just be careful with some of the fine wires. Check position of all the o-rings and use a relatively small screwdriver to press the hose against the o-ring while installing the clips.

If you are experiencing GFCI trips / power issues - order the entire valve kit. Machine ran great after the replacement.

Received and installed SP0100757 kit into Breville BES 870XL, but after installation I press "brew", the water just goes to the drain, completely bypassing the group head. Could it be a defective part?
For model number Breville BES 870XL
Hi Valdas,
Thank you for your question. If the water drains when you press brew on your Barista Express, the solenoid valve likely has a build-up of scale and will need to be cleaned. If de-scaling the solenoid valve does not fix the issue, or if the solenoid valve makes a buzzing or clicking sound, then it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
