Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This blue control board helps your dishwasher run smoothly by managing its cycles and functions. If your dishwasher won’t start, stops mid-cycle, or acts unpredictably, replacing the control board can often fix the issue. It’s easy to install with basic tools, but be sure to check your model number first to make sure it fits. Once installed, it helps restore reliable performance and efficient cleaning.

So my Fridgidaire Dishwasher panel lights up as it should, but when you go to hit Start to wash dishes, it’ll make the normal noise that it’s suppose to, but then just stops, won’t finish, water barely comes in to the dishwasher! I’ve got power to each and every part up underneath it! My issue is I’m extremely afraid to spend money I don’t have and this doesn’t fix it, so I am praying you can pin point me in the correct direction!

Had ER code on the display. Now nothing works buttons or lights. I have power to the board, how do I know if it's the board or the control panel that needs replacing
For model number FGIP2468UF2A
Hi Matt, thank you for your question! The error ER indicates that there is a membrane switch failure, which means one of the keys is giving the wrong signal to the control board. We would suggest checking the keys on the control panel and the wiring between the keypad and the main control board. If that does not solve the issue, then you may need to replace the switch assembly, part number PS12585690, to fix the issue. Good luck with this repair!

My dishwasher is lighting up rinse cycle only. Cannot push any other buttons or options. Have to turn off breaker to get it to stop flashing rinse cycle. And sometimes after I finally get it to start wash cycle it stops and rinse cycle lights up again. Control board or something else? Thanks

Hi, I am having a problem where the circulation pump doesn't kick on at all. I can program a cycle normal or heavy but the pump never throws water around. The drain is working fine. I replaced the circulation pump but the new pump also doesn't turn on. Should I replace the control board also? Is there a easier fix I can try first. There is power to motor I checked with a multimeter.

Keypad has no power, none of the button light up. Confirmed the power to the dishwasher is live. Door latch is not working, I’m assuming this is due to the main circuit board? This model you press the start and options before closing the door. Anything else I should check before replacing the main circuit board.
