I have purchased many items on your site for my appliances. I have the above washer which I purchased new, in 2020. There is a strong damp smell emanating from the washer. We tried rinsing it with washing machine cleaners, but the smell still lingers.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
For model number MVWB835DW5
Hello Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the drain hose for any clogging. If this is not the issue, you may need to replace the drain pump filter, part number PS16660526, to fix the issue. It traps all the dirt and residue from clothes. Often these filters can sit uncleaned causing the washer to smell. We hope this helps!

MACHINE IS STUCK ON SENSING. I GET WATER WHEN I DEPRESS WATER BUTTON NEAR FABRIC SOFTENER DISPENSER
For model number WTW8127LC1
Hi Thomas, thank you for the question. Based on our understanding, we would suggest checking the lid lock assembly, part number PS12731130. A faulty lid switch can prevent the machine from moving past the sensing stage. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
We have a green blinking light on the control board. The washer is starting and sensing but does not fill with water and says clothes are clean after 3 minutes! Any part replacement suggestions?
For model number MVW7232HW0
Hello Kathleen, Thank you for reaching out. The green blinking light, with the machine sensing but not filling with water and quickly indicating a "clean" cycle, normally indicates to an issue with the water inlet valve. We suggest checking the water supply to the appliance and make sure it is on with a good water pressure. Make sure the inlets where the hoses connect are clear. If everything is good, you may have a faulty Valve. We hope this information is useful!
The washer runs through it's cycle but after the final spin the clothes are still soaking wet. I already replaced the suspension rod/springs and this did not resolve the problem Water pump is pumping fine. Is there a filter/s that I should look for? In the meantime I am going to pull the washer plate to see it i need a new fitting.
For model number MVWX655DW2
Hello Christopher, thank you for the question. Check the drain pump filter. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked or crushed. Make sure you do not overfill the washer and that the load is balanced. If the drain hose is installed too low or too high, water can either be siphoned out of the washer or it may fail to drain and thus remain in the washer. If the washer is not level, adjust its leveling legs until it is balanced. If the belt that drives the drum is loose or worn, it may not be able to spin the drum properly and restrict the washer’s ability to drain. Check the belt, part number PS12578772, and replace it if necessary. Good luck with this repair!
In follow up to the question about the green blinking light, we already replaced the inlet valve. Any other suggestions?

Hello Kathleen, Thank you for reaching out again. If the Valve did not fix the issue and the water supply tot he washer was checked, you may have a faulty User Interface Panel. The panel would tell the valve when to fill. Thank you for the question.

Where is the drain filter located?
For model number MVW7232HW0
Hi Tom, thank you for the question. According to our research, the drain filter is located under the inner tub. You may need to remove the inner tub to access the drain filter. We hope this helps!
