Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
The Frigidaire light bulb lens covers the interior light bulb in an oven. No tools are necessary to replace this item. After unplugging the appliance, slide off the wire bracket to remove the existing light bulb lens. Be sure to remove all broken glass, if applicable, before installing the new lens. It is recommended to check the state of the light bulb while the lens is off. This part is made of glass. The lens is a genuine Frigidaire part, sourced directly from the manufacturer, and is sold individually.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Door light switch was stuck
Pulled out stove, took side panel off on switch side of oven, unplugged old switch, pulled the old switch out the front of the oven, put in new switch and plugged it in. Then put oven back together and pushed it back into space. (Make sure to turn oven off at breaker box before you make repair) you could easily get shocked if you don’t.

Lens cover for oven light broke.
Really a no brainer, but I do have to say that PartSelect customer service is excellent. My part was located and on it's way within a day and arrived a couple of days later.
Your online instructions said to remove the two screws and pull out the heating element about 3 inches and disconnect. When I did this the element came out but not where it was connect to the wire., I could not locate the wire from the front of the oven. I then pulled out the oven from the built in cabinet and removed the rear panel. Then
... Read more inserted the element with the 2 screws from the front and connect the wires to the element from the back of the oven. Jim
