Oven Door Seal with Metal Clips

This part is an oven door seal with metal clips. It may also be known as a gasket and it is a part for the oven in your range. This gasket comes with ten clips and is black in color. The thickness of this part is less than half an inch in diameter. The function of this seal is to go around the body of the oven door to help isolate the heat within the oven. The most common reason for needing to change this part is if your current seal is old and falling apart. If you can feel heat leaking out of your oven you may need to replace your gasket.

PF alarm appeared on display. Noticed clicking when cord was moved. Had arced for some time and melted original block. New part slightly different. Only has 3 lugs, old one had six. Replaced element. Removed shelves, removed two screws and lifted/wiggles old element out to pull wires off at connectors. Reversed process installing new element and truned on to test/burn off "newness" Done! read more
