the oven stoped working and an F3 displayed on the board also a smell of gass was present
thanks to you 'r assistsnce First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires, and changing the regulator was just as easy.
removed two screws disconnected inlet pipe and two outlet pipes, removed regulator. Replaced with new regulator. performed leak Test.

Does this regulator have a size you can tell me it is. I have regulators but don't want to throw just anything on it.

gas burners work gas broiler works. oven takes forever to heat up

oven flame is too high with long yellow tips, I adjusted the burner shutter and with it wide open the flame is still too high with long yellow tips. The stovetop flames are a nice blue color of proper height. Am I correct in assuming that the gas pressure regulator (5304521339) is defective, it does not appear to be adjustable. My range uses LP gas and has burned properly for many years.

A gas flame yellow in color indicates an improper ratio of oxygen for combustion. Often this improper combustion is temporary and could be caused by dust particles or a dirty burner that needs cleaning. Sometimes the problem can be resolved by removing the cap and cleaning the ring. Good luck with your repair.
