Door Lock Switch EBF61215204

The new door switch had the wire plug mounted slightly differently, but it was listed as a replacement, and the existing cable connected to the new plug ok. Took numerous tries to get the washer to work with the new switch, but finally things became stabilized and the machine starts reliably each time it is called upon to wash. Happy not to have to buy a new washer, although the door switch is costly. It seems the LG washers now have a more common type of door switch and not like the one on our machine that is 7 years old, yet thankfully is now going strong again.
