Error code. i30 (Electrolux D/W)
No water left in the machine but pump continues to run.
Could this be a pressure switch?
For model number EI24ID81SS2A
Hello Daniel, thank you for reaching out. The error code I30 on your Electrolux dishwasher indicates an internal leak, caused by water collecting in the base of the appliance. The water rises up the float and causes the error. We suggest that you tip the dishwasher over onto the front and then upright again, to remove the water collected in the tray. Also, check the pressure switch, drain hose, water inlet valve, and drain pump. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
Dishwasher works correctly during all programed WASH cycles. During the 1st RINSE on any program, the machine keeps attempting to DRAIN, even though the tub is empty and eventually displays an i20 code. I switch to RINSE ONLY to rinse the dishes and the machine completes the cycle normally. Is this a failing pressure switch?
For model number FGID2479SF5A
Hi Steven, thank you for reaching out. The error code i20 indicates that the dishwasher is not draining properly. The issue could be with the pressure switch, part number PS12586275. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

At completion green light does not go on and code i20 shows in the display. About 2 inches of water lays in the bottom below the filter and screen. Is this a defective pressure switch ? If so what is the correct replacement part ?
For model number FGID2474QF4B
Hello Robert, Thank you for your inquiry. Error code I20 indicates clogged filters or a restricted drain line has been detected, or an issue with the sensor. Check for clogs or kicks in the drain hose and pull out the filter in the drain pump and clean. Test the pressure switch and drain pump with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order for a part, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Faint smell of wire or plastic melting three quarters thru wash. water in bottom of tub. Machine stopped, will not restart.
For model number FGID2479SF1A
Hi David,
Thank you for your question. If there was a smell of plastic melting and there is still some water in the tub, check the drain pump to see if it clogged or damaged. If the drain pump id clogged or damaged it will need to be cleaned out or replaced. If the drain pump is fine, you will need to inspect the dishwasher to see which part is causing the issue. If you have any questions, please let us know.

The pump won’t stop running. It displays 30 on the display on the top of the door.
Is this part the flow switch?
For model number FDSH450LAF4A
Hello Stephen, thank you for your inquiry. Error code i30 means the water is too low. It means that the dishwasher thinks it has flooded with water. You will want to uninstall the dishwasher and tip the dishwasher forward 45 degrees to drain any water out that is in the base pan below the dishwasher. Then re-apply power to the dishwasher and try again. If you still get the error i30 there is a pressure switch on this dishwasher, which is supposed to tell the dishwasher when to stop filling with water and tell the control board how much water is in the tub which is reading incorrectly. This pressure switch, part number PS12586275, would need to be replaced to resolve the issue. Good luck with this repair!
