nothing works on the user interface. If not the electronic control what else could it be?

Hi Timothy, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding, we would recommend checking the dispenser control panel first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the dispenser user interface board, part number PS12578770. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!

Hi James, thank you for your inquiry. Check the dispenser chute for any ice blockages, which can occur from a power outage or temperature fluctuations. Even if the auger is new, the dispenser motor itself might be bad. If you hear humming but no rotation, this is a likely culprit. You will need to replace the dispenser motor, part number PS12349163, to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!

Hello James, thank you for reaching out. A humming motor means power is reaching the unit, but a physical jam or mechanical failure is preventing rotation. The most probable causes are large, frozen ice clumps in the bin or the auger motor's drive shaft not engaging properly with the ice container assembly. Clear any blockages or reseat the ice bin firmly. If this does not help, you may need to replace the auger drive coupling, part number PS11739763. A faulty auger drive coupling prevents the motor's power from engaging the ice-crushing mechanism; the motor spins harmlessly while the stripped or broken coupling fails to move the ice.
