Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
O-rings are made to contain thousands of PSI pressure by creating a seal between two or more parts. O-ring measurements are defined by the inside diameter and the thickness. rnrnThere are many causes for O-Ring failure. The most common among power tools are: • <u>Extrusion and Nibbling</u> - The O-ring has ragged, tattered edges. These are commonly caused by pressure spikes which shear off tiny "bites" from the o-ring, or caused by clearance gaps. • <u>Abrasion</u> - One or both sides of the o-ring appear rough and slightly flattened. Commonly caused by a contact surface that it too rough, contains grit or is too smooth to allow lubrication. • <u>Over Compression </u> - The O-ring is flattened on both sides and may have a "ring" split along its length. Commonly caused by excessive pressure or heat. • <u>Heat Hardening</u> - The O-ring has a pitted or cracked surface, and is often flattened on both sides. Caused by temperature exceeding o-ring capacity. • <u>Weather/Ozone Cracking</u> - The O-ring is covered in small surface cracks. Caused by exposure to ozone, UV rays and air pollution. Excessive seal stretching (greater that 5%) causes similar cracking.

My compressor runs fine but doesn't buildup air pressure and I've drained it and placed a bit of oil in the tank to help prevent condensation still no pressure please help

Hello Sammie, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the pressure switch, the safety valve, the regulator, the o-rings (which also come with the valve plate kit) and the piston seal. Check for any visible damage and you can test the pressure switch with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter works, we have a video on how to use one. Does valve Plat come with o rings
For model number 919167620
