Are the motor and gearbox one unit?

Can you confirm that the gear box for this model comes with the spanner nut for the shaft and not the plastic U clip

Hello Marcus, thank you for writing. We find there is no plastic U Clip listed anywhere in the parts list. It does not come with the Drive Pulley PS10057144. And If you need just the Spanner nut, we do sell the Hub kit PS2581262. It includes driven hub, drive block, spanner nut, (6) screws, instruction sheet, and recalibrating instruction sheet.

I replaced the tub seal and now it's making a roaring noise when it spins.Is the bearing in the motor drive replaceable or do you have to purchase the entire gear drive?

Hello Bryant, thank you for inquiring. For the symptom you are describing you may want to replace either the Washer Drive Pulley part PS10057144, the Drive Belt part PS11747978, or the Suspension Rod Support part PS3502189. The Bearing only comes in this Gearcase. We hope this helps.

Water is leaking from the bottom of the washing machine. Is there a seal on the headache that could be causing this leak. If not, what else could be cause the water leak?

The spin cycle is very loud on my whirlpool washer. Would this indicate bad bearings in the drive assembly?
