Non agitator pulsating action ceased
Ordered the parts and followed You Tube DYI clip. This 3YOMaytag top loading washer has had a motherboard replaced and now this. It all works fine for now, I cannot imagine what the appliance tech would have charged. Maytag is not what it used to be.

Our dryer timer knob broke and we were able to purchase a replacement at a local reliable parts store (after getting the part number from your website). However the replacement part WP33001621 does not have a knob cap and the part is a different design from the one we replaced so the old cap does not fit. The old cap had 4 tabs and was 2 1/8 inch in diameter and the new one has 2 tabs and is 1.5 in diameter. Can you advise the part number for the replacement cap. Thanks.

My washer was giving off balance errors constantly. I replaced the suspension rods and it is still going off balance. I ran the washer empty and it was so off balance it was banging the tub against the inside of the washer. What other issues can cause this and how can i fix them

Hello Topher, thank you for your inquiry. Follow the given instructions to remove the gearcase PS12741641: Unplug the unit. Remove the washer motor rotor from underneath the washer and unplug the wires. Remove the screws and dislocate the starter and clutch assemblies. Remove the screws holding the plastic bracket and wire ground bracket. Remove the spiral clip and retainer spring. Unthread the bolts securing the gearcase. Remove the back cover plate and lift the top panel. Remove the tabs on the bottom of the stub ring and dislocate them. Unthread the bolt securing the wash plate with a socket wrench. Remove the wash plate. Remove the spinner nut around the shaft. Now force the old gear case out of the bracket. Insert a new one and repeat the procedure. We hope this solves your problem!

My dryer plastic handle used to open the door broke shortly after we purchased with normal usage. My sister in law has the exact same model and same thing happened to hers. It is a small piece of plastic that just pops in. Can we get a new one sent to replace the broken one?
