My dryer won't start the drum when I hit the START button. The drum heats but doesn't turn. It sounds like something is not engaging. I called a repairman who said it sounds like the "clutch". I can't find a "clutch" in the parts section for my model: GTD42EASJ0WW. Can you advise?

Thank you for your question. If your dryer will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the start switch, the drive belt, and the door switch. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts and some others as well.
