Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This rack adjuster is a genuine OEM replacement part that is designed for use in dishwashers. It is designed to fit on the left side of the upper rack where it allows you to adjust the height of the rack in the dishwasher. Over time, it is common for the plastic parts of the adjuster to wear down or break due to exposure to heat, chemicals, and frequent use. Be sure to inspect the adjuster on the right side of the dishwasher as well, as they tend to wear down at the same time. It is advised to replace both to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Is the right side/left side determined by when you are looking at the dishwasher from the front? I need a replacement for the side adjuster.

I need to replace the left and right adjuster for the top rack. What are the part nos. I need to order. To me it looks like there is three pieces. The adjuster tab itself, a front and a back. Is there a spring that is involved in the installation?
