Air baffle will not close even in the test mode so fresh food section is freezing the food. Air baffle has been replaced, can you offer any help

Hi Charles, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the damper control assembly, part number PS11755410. It comes with a sensor attached to it and controls the flow of cold air from the freezer compartment to the fresh food compartment. A faulty damper assembly may cause the refrigerator temperature to fluctuate. We hope this information helps!
My french door refrigerator is not defrosting causing ice build up under the back panel of freezer. I replaced the defrost heater a couple months ago and the ice build up is back. Is there a way to test the control panel to see if it is defective ?

Thank you for your question. If the light is not working correctly where the dispenser controls are, you may just have to replace the light assembly. The part number listed under your model number for the light assembly is PS5573812. I would advise first to use a multimeter to check the light assembly, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts to see which part is causing the issue. I hope this helps.
