How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Whirlpool Duet Valves missing insulator
Able to install easily, however, frustrating to pay the amount I did for a quality valve but having the plastic connector insulator missing and bent. I cracked an insulator off the old valve and super glued it to the new valve, therefore, making it workable. This was not due to shipment damage but had to be due to lack of inspection, hopefully not lack of concern, before being sent. There were no insulator pieces in the shipment box, therefore, it was prior to shipment that the part was defective. Who wants to hassle with sending back something defective and wait another week to get your clothes washer running, therefore, I made the valve that was sent work okay.

Washer was giving F20 F35 and SUDS error messages
After replacing the Water Inlet Valve and Flowmeter the F20 error message stopped. However, after ordering and replacing the Water Pressure Sensor the F35 error message and the SUDS error message stopped and the washer is finally working.

The f20 display. The problem has been going on for years. What i have been doing is removing the hot and cold water hoses an d hooking them up again and it would work again for a while. Will replacing the water inlet valve solve the problem?
For model number WFW9600TW00
Hi Charles, thank you for your question. Yes that error code means that the machine is not detecting any water going into your machine. You may want to check the hoses for kinks or any blockages. If there are not any then test your water inlet valve. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Water for the softener does not flow in when needed. not enough to flushed it down
For model number WFW9600TW01
Hi Vincent,
Thank you for your question. If your washer is not filling with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the inlet hoses and screens, the water inlet valve, the door lock, the water level pressure switch and the electronic control board. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!
