leaking
My husband did the repair and had it done before I got home from work, he wasn't swearing so I have to say that it went very well. No more leaks and we are in business again. Thank you .

Small leak on the right hand side during rinse cycle.
I had to make several attempts as follows:1.I replaced the door gasket, still leaked, 2.Replaced the float and micro-switch, still leaked.3.Replaced the insulation inside the door., still leaked. 4. Finally, read your diagnosis info and ordered the gromet. It was delivered in under 24 hours to my Island home!5.Took off the 7 door screws, unscrewed 2 screws that held the latch mechanism, replaced the rotted gromet and Voila! no leak. Once I found the problem, it took 15 minutes

minor leak when dish washer would run
Thankfully I checked out similar problems that others had experienced with this type of dish washer, which saved quite a bit of time and money. What I thought was a leaking door seal was actually a tiny gommet around the latch for the soap dispenser door. I was able to order the right part and save the extra $$ a door seal would have cost. A cordless drill which acted both as screwdriver and socket driver made the job very easy.

Dishwasher was leaking on the right side of the drawer
I removed 7 Torx screws from the door and then 2 screws that held the detergent dispenser latch in place and the replaced the grommet, no more leak. I thought about buying a new dishwasher because of the age of mine but decided to at least try this fix even though the shipping cost for the part was more than the cost of the part. So for about $12 dollars I saved the cost of a new machine.

Detergent Door not opening
Replaced wax motor. Since the latch grommet seal was nearby I replaced that also. That seal can cause significant door leaks and I had replaced it 5 years ago. It is easier to take the entire assembly off of the door and clean it. Be careful not to break the plastic linkages. To test the repair, you must let the dishwasher go through the entire wash cycle. Simply advancing the timer won't test it as the motor takes 1-2 minutes to fully extend and open the door. The door opens on fill number 3 of 4.

Occasional water leakage at bottom of door
I followed instructions of others that were posted. Door seal was simply removing old seal, cleaning track and pushing new seal in,making sure it was even all around. Removing the door cover to get at the Dispenser grommet was simply removing all 7 hex nut screws. Had to go out and buy the proper hex nut screwdriver . I did not remove the wiring, just turned cover over to remove the two nuts holding the dispenser. The nut on the left was a little hard to get off, had to kind of force the socket onto the nut. Otherwise all went well and simply removed the old grommet and installed new one. Finding the right tools was the part that took the longest. I had hard water before putting in a water softener so that was probably hard on the seals plus the machine was an older model. No problems now and saved having someone come in and do a repair.

leak on right side of dishwasher door causing small pool of liquid on floor
before ordering parts i noticed lower right side of door gasket was missing about 1 inch. when ordering door gasket i thought for the low cost of latch grommet i should order that also....glad i did. pulled out old door gasket, cleaned where new gasket would go and replaced it. tried the washer and when it reached the main wash the leak started again. took the 7 screws out of door removed 2 nuts and replaced the dispenser door latch grommet.....problem solved. dont think because the old grommet looks fine that is not bad. im not a "repair kind of guy " but this was easy and toof 20 min.

Water dripping from the bottom right and left corners of the door
Read the Partselect.com installation reports for the Door Gasket and the Dispenser Door Latch Grommet both of which caused leaking when they failed. Decided it was the Dispenser Door Latch Grommet. Removed the 7 screws from the inner door, easy. Removed the inner door and turned off Dishwasher circuit breaker and removed wire terminals from soap dispenser motor. removed soap door latch mechanisim 2 screws. pulled off old grommet and replaced with new grommet. Reversed the disassembly and ran the dishwasher. Still leaks, but I knew it was a gamble. I just ordered the Dishwasher Door Gasket. Thanks to Part Select for their website --- Great Find!!

Replaced control panel to change color / fix leak
The tub seal was worn and leaking, this took 5 minutes to replace. I also changed the color of the dishwasher from almond to black by painting the metal panels and replacing the control panel and knob with black ones. Looks like new!

Dishwasher is leaking. We've replaced the door gasket, now seems to be leaking worse. Seems like it is over filling?
For model number DWU9202AAB

Hi Ron, Thank you for the question. The water level should reach just below the heating element. if it is over filling, I suggest replacing or checking the float switch, PartSelect Number: PS11747680.Water that fills your dishwasher lifts this float. When it reaches a certain level, the float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. Hope this helps!

I've replaced both the inner door gasket and door gasket and the machine still leaks. The leaking seems to come towards the end of the cycle. Is there any objective way to determine where the leak is occurring? I'm thinking of adding another inner door gasket and also the soap dish grommet. What do you recommend? Thanks for your help.
For model number PDB2600AWE

Hi Wayne, Thank you for your question. Before adding another gasket, I would first find out what the problem is. If the leaking is occurring at the end of the cycle, it is likely the pump, but you may need to take the dishwasher apart to see which part is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
