How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

Our paddle on our Kenmore Elite has stayed in the pushed-in position for over a year, but still worked. Now it no longer dispenses water. It seems like we just need to replace a spring or something to restore the proper tension. But is there a spring built inside this whole paddle assembly? So we need to buy this whole paddle?

Ocassionally water drips from the spout after we get a glass of water. It does not start immediately after dispensing water but starts dripping a few seconds after the water is dispensed,

Hello Claude, thank you for writing. You could replace the Water Dispenser Fitting and Tube Assembly first as part PS886371 but we would suggest inspecting the parts to try and pin point where the dripping is coming from. It could even be your water inlet valve part PS3497634 that is causing the dripping. We have an installation video for you to access to see if this is a repair for you. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
I have a whirl pool water dispenser that does not retract back as quickly as when it was new - if i replace this part would it fix the problem

Hello Richard, thank you for your question. Yes, this would be the first part we would suggest replacing. You may also want to check the part the lever attaches to and the water tube, and mounting bracket to be sure there is no issues with those parts as well. I hope this helps!
