Lid trigger went and fried both plug and connector
Purchased lid trigger elsewhere but got the connector on line here after being told I would need to purchase complete wiring harness to correct. Once lid trigger was in i stripped the three wires that went to lid trigger and pushed thru the back side of the connector. Then I plugged into trigger. Now washer works again. Very easy to do.

This part does not come with the metal contacts inside the plug. The reason the plug needed replacing is because the contactors are fried. Do you sell the contacts separately?

I have a estate whirlpool washing machine model ETW4400VQ1 and the wire connector that fits into the lid switch has melted, does the wire connector work for this whirlpool top load washer.

Washer only fills with water. Nothing turns the motor on to wash or to drain or to spin in any cycle selection or wash/spin selection. There's no humming. It acts as if there was a blown fuse to the motor. Last use, it filled halfway with water and when agitater was supposed to start it just seemed to go dead. But if I turn the water selector for more water it adds it. I'm dumbfounded!

You may need to check the following parts first, to solve the issue: the timer, part number PS11742062, lid switch assembly, part number PS11742021, and the motor switch, part number PS11746107. If the issue persists, it means that there is something wrong with any of the parts of the motor. So, we recommend you check the motor coupling, motor start capacitor, and clutch assembly, to fix the issue. For replacement, these parts are available at our site with part select numbers PS1485646, PS11746661, and PS334641 respectively. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
