Replace Inner Oven glass because it shattered
Go onto youtube, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ITkrwhDNMQ and watch similar videos for DYI. The process is very similar to other models.
Once the door is removed, place oven door on a towel or soft place so it does not scratch the door. Unscrew the screws and make sure you notice where each screw goes, so you know

Once the inner cover is removed, remove the insulation, too so you don't damage it. Use Wet/Dry Shop Vac to clean the shattered glass. (WORD OF ADVICE: I did not remove the insulation and the suction of the Shop Vac removed part of the insulation, so now instead of a quick turn around repair turns into a few weeks repair, because the insulation is on back order 10-14 days from the supplier. DON"T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!)
Once the glass has been removed, the new inner glass is replaced, begin by re-assemble the oven door with the correct screws and attached the oven door to the range.

I accidentally cracked the interior glass of our LG range door. It looks like from your pastry photo that it would be piece 1008. In the photo it looks like that is a double piece of glass. Does that mean you have to replace the whole glass window on the door as one unit and not just the broken interior? Also in your opinion how difficult is this to do? I saw a walk through demo on you tube but didn’t know if you think it would be best to hire out. Thanks for your input. Mary hodorowicz

Thank you for your question. If it is just one pane of glass, part number 1008 in the diagram, that is broken, then you can replace just that one piece of glass. The part number for the glass is PS11700733. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the inner door glass. I need replacement glass for the upper door of an LG double oven range. Some diagrams call each piece of the double paned assembly 1008, some refer to the front as 1008 and the bask 1018 thought they appear identical to me.)

Outer viewing window on my oven is cracked. Is there a special part that replaces the outer viewing window, or does the replacement window include two panes (inner and outer).
