YKESC307HT7 KitchenAid Range - Instructions

After reading what other people did for this job I figured I could do this. The inside glass broke after liquid accidently hit the glass from basting.
Just followed the digram from the internet to show how the door and glass comes apart. The only thing I had to figure out was how to take the door off. And once I figured that out it went pretty easy.
The door comes off just by lifting up on the door and pulling out. Just make sure you put all your parts in order on how they come apart and just replace them them in that order.

Turned off CB for the oven,Remove the oven from the cabinet , remove the back of the oven, replaced the light Assembly. turned on CB for the oven, tested the light. and truned off the CB and replace the back and reinstalled the oven in the cabinet.

Unplug power cord, remove wires from block. take 2 screws out. replace with new block about 15 mins. Done

received the part sooner than expected, all of the holes lined up, for being the first time working on a stove it could not have gone any better

Moved Oven from wall, removed eight screws holding down the Burner Top. Lifted Top and held it up to remove two screws on the side of the element. Disconnected four wires, replaced element, connected the four wires again and assembled in reverse mode of dissasembly. All went pretty simple, moving oven from wall and adjusting/level it back in place was the most time consuming.
Part works fine, delivery was faster than expected during the Holidays. Good Job Thanks!!!

I refered to what I had read on repair stories of broken glass...then went to fixing mine and before I new it I was done and glass replaced...it was very easy as long as you watch what you are doing when u take it apart and replace things the same as they were removed......thank you

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

Unplug appliance first. Remove rear cover plate (only to disconnect burner plug). Remove plastic upper side covers. Open oven door & remove two screws holding burner top. Lift off entire top, flip upside down and change element.

We looked online for instructions, not sure how to "lift" the glass top.... There were 2 screws/hex head at the front of the range under the top that when removed allowed the top to be lifted up ..... the elements are on the underside, and with the removal of a few screws and unplugging the element connections (real easy) the burned out element was easily removed and the new one replaced... Less than 15 minutes for the whole operation...HOW COOL!

I went to the source of power on the stove and noticed one of the terminals had come loose from the terminal block and had shorted out against the cover of the terminal junction. After prying the loose terminal off cover I ordered new terminal block and received it the 2nd day. I removed the old terminal block and replaced the part in about 10 minutes..Thank you Parts Select for your easy to find diagrams and quick delivery.

looked it up on line how to change it. before I ordered part, to see how much of a job it was. was real simple to change, had no problem. also part select sent the correct part. Job went well

I got the new wheel and screwed it in by hand. It took like 4 minutes total between taking out the drawer, screwing the new wheel on, and putting the drawer back in

Removed the light cover - unscrew the bulb - place the gasket on the base of the light cover - replace the bulb - replace the light cover
