Display was completely blank
Turned off current at breaker box. Removed the panel above the top oven (dual-oven) by removing the seven screws that held it on. Disconnected the wires going to the clock assembly. Laid the entire panel face down on the counter, removed the four screws holding the clock assy in place and removed clock. Installed new clock and reinstalled panel. It was that easy!

Varying heat
Removed two screws, unplugged the old unit, plugged in the new, screwed the new in. Job done. Would have been less than five minutes if I hadn't kept dropping the screws.

not heating/kicking oven off
Husband got on partselect.com and read reviews, we ordered a long oven sensor kit. When it came in the mail, I took it out and look at it, decided I could probably switch the part.... and so I did. Easy Breezy ... and it worked well

clock display dim.
easy peasy. the only tricky part, if you don't have prior knowledge, is releasing the ribbon from the old part. I recommend going on youtube and searching for any video that shows you how to release a ribbon connector. We did that and it was invaluable. The alternative is practicing on your new part, but I really didn't want to do this. The new part works beautifully and PartSelect had it to us in 2 days.

Oven display not working
I read installation advise on this web site, so when the part arrived I was more than ready to replace it. Removing a few screws below the faceplate, pulling the faceplate out slightly then up, being careful with the electronic connections, (there are tabs on the sides that need to be pressed to remove the connectors. The largest connecter is tricky, the side tabs need to be pressed then gently pulled up to release the electronic "tape".) It took about ten minutes to complete. Very satisfied.

Oven would not turn on and get hot.
Our oven quit working again. I called the repair(dealer) man and he said we needed a new control panel. It would cost $180.00 and labor would be $60. The total repair would be $240.00. We considered just purchasing a new one. It is a slide-in range and they start at about $1500. So I began looking for a control panel on line. I found your web site and entered what was wrong with the oven. Your site suggested we try replacing the oven sensor. There was a video that showed how simple the repair was. We ordered the part. It came quickly and I immediately made the repair (about 10 min). I was very disappointed that it did not work. I went back to you web site and tried the next option. It was a terminal block for only $20.00. I didn't even know what a terminal block was, what it looked like or where on the range to find it. But I went again to your video and I learned quickly what to do. I ordered the part and it came in two days. I made the repair in about 15 min. My wife was very happy that the repair worked. Our total cost was about $80. The $240 quote would not have fixed the oven anyway. The repairman was wrong. I was very happy with the results and the money we saved.. Good Job PartSelect and thanks.

dimming display
Built in so removed 4 screws underneath display and lifted up (was a little tricky because of cabnet doors above)removed 2 plug in connectors and put unit on counter top. to remove ribbon connector push in on tabs on both sides, lightly pull up ribbon (the wider part of connector will come up about a 32nd of an inch and the ribbon will pull away from that, there are two small protusions on the connector that capture two holes in the ribbon) once you figure that out its a simple job.

Oven temperature lagging set temperature by almost 100F
Removed frame to cabinet lag screws
Slid oven out of cabinet (required because wire harness could not be pulled through inside of oven)
Removed two screws holding attaching sensor inside oven
Uncoupled wire harness
Installed new sensor in reverse order
Unfortunately, neither the new bake element or sensor fixed the problem, so I just ordered the more expensive control board -- hope that does it.
