Worn out detergent dispenser
Total repair time after watching videos was 53 minutes. I estimate I saved between $200 to $300 by doing this myself. If you have any DIY skills, don't hesitate to replace the detergent dispenser yourself.

Top rack slider piece broke
I replaced the holder that connects the top dishwasher rack on the drawer slide. I took it apart carefully so I could remember how to assemble everything back. I did have trouble for a few minutes to get it clipped and I checked the opposite side. After I pondered it for a few moments and did a couple of trial runs at it, it magically slid into the slot, the other did, too, and it was good to go. So very, very pleased!

Dishwasher does not finish its cycle. The sanitizer light flashes red and there is soapy water left in the dishwasher.
I replaced the thermostat (part # PS11750035) along with the heating element (part # PS9494999) and the turbidity sensor (part # PS11757214). I also checked the filter (part # PS11759673) and it was very clean with no holes. The dishwasher still has water and soap suds standing in dishwasher after I ran it through different cycles. Also, when I run the sanitize cycle the sanitize light flashes red at the end. It doesn’t appear to completely filling with water. Also my hot water temperature is 130 degrees after running for 1 minute. I am at a loss! Any suggestions?

Whining noise from dishwasher when filling and leaking around overflow valve
Unplugged dishwasher and turned off water supply. Removed bottom panel. Put rag under valve and unscrewed water inlet. Used ratchet and socket to remove screw from valve. Disconnected wires. Broken door cable link
Fairly easy. Undid the two screws on the kick plate. Then used pliers to undo the leveling legs and pulled the dishwasher out from under the cabinet. The dishwasher is hard-wired with extra electric cable. The drainage tube is flexible and there is extra so I did not have to worry about disconnecting anything. I then attached the new door cable link to the spring. Using the Needle-nosed Vise Grips I pulled the cable so I had enough to make the connection on the door piece. Done. Then I put everything back.

Spring broke on door
We pulled the unit out and were able to easily see where it broke. We replaced it relatively easy, pushed dishwasher back in; however, somehow the pump seal got broken in the process so now we have to replace the pump. This was totally unrelated to this repair - only can assume it happened when we pushed the unit back into place.

Door Cable broke and door would fall when opened
1st pull dishwasher out. attach the new cable to the spring. reinstall the spring on the frame. Use pliers to pull slack in the cable to attach the cable to the door. The hardest thing about the install was putting the screws in the side of the dishwasher to the cabinets.

The right hand nylon link broke & the door would fall open with the spring tension gone
remove the bottom plate with a nut driver and back off on the front leg adjusters. Slide out the dishwasher approx 8-10 inches and remove the broken link. The new one goes on easily. Look at the opposite side if in doubt as to how to attach. Slide the unit back in and tighten the leg adjusters until the unit is secure. reattach the lower front panel which hides the leg adjusters, etc. You're done!

dishwasher door became very heavy to open and would not spring closed
First I turned off the water and power to the dishwasher.I removed the two screws on the front bottom cover plate, removed the plate. Removed the two nuts and bolts holding the dishwasher in place between the cabinets. Then I pulled the dishwasher out about 6 to 7 inches so I could see the spring, pulley and rope connections. Then I saw the rope on the right side of the door bottom had pulled through the connector. I ordered the part and next day delivery was great.(excellent service). The repair kit comes with both sides parts but I only needed one(for now). I reconnected spring to rope connector and threaded through pulley and to the door and job was done. A little difficult stretching spring so I put a long piece of wire to hold spring tight while connecting to rope but I worked out great. My husband said "great job, honey". I saved a $150 repairman bill....now I might go shopping (ha ha) Kim
