Loud crunching and banging from ice dispenser
Problem caused by ice cubes falling out of ice bin and collecting at rear and interfering with ice dispenser drive. Broke plactic drive ring. Pull down 2 clips at front bottom of ice bin. Pull ice bin out. Dump ice cubes. Remove 8 star drive screws to allow case to move far enough to clear broken drive ring. Replace drive ring. Reinstall and tighten 8 screws. Install ice bin. Correct loose right side ice cube retainer board to prevent cubes from falling out of ice bin.

Fridge water dispenser started firing randomnly
First locked the control panel to prevent more water from coming out. Then figured out how to remove the panel (using torque bit), along with the control board and switch. Removed the switch from the assembly, and used a multimeter to diagnose that the switch was intermittently closing. Searched using Google to find the switch part number, and was able to get the best price and match at PartSelect without having to order in bulk. I'm always wary about ordering off eBay, and prefer dealing directly with a supply company. Once the new switch came, it was a snap to install it and reassemble the water dispenser board and front panel. Once assembled, the dispenser worked like new! Overall, it took about an hour or less of diagnosing and work, plus wait time for ordering, and about $25 for the part. Beat calling a repairman and paying $100 for the same work.

Ice Dispenser drive ring was broken
I pulled the dispenser bin and emptied the existing ice (the maker worked, the dispenser would not dispense). Though there appears to be more, there are about 4 (reciting from memory)very small tap screws holding the front of the dispenser unit to the bin. The dispenser activation screw mounts over protruding items at each end. The item at the back (away from the dispenser gear package) is the drive ring that was broken. The drive ring is a small plastic cup that inserts into an opening at the back of the bin (female side to the rear) and slides into the distal end of the activation screw on the same end. One must line up the small slot on the inside of the drive ring with the end of the screw. Slide the assembly together (make sure that the cube/crush switch rod is properly clipped in place with the return spring hooked to the clip), GENTLY install the 4 or so screws and return he assembly to the freezer. It should work flawlessly. Elapsed time: 15 - 20 minutes.

Lost lower hinge pins while moving refrigerator to another house--Couldn't mount the doors back on without them!
Very easy once we had the pins! The amazing part was how fast we obtained them, how easy the ordering process was, and how vast and easy the selection process. Entering the model number took us right to a diagram of what we needed! The placement of the pins was almost self explanatory by the shape and size, but the diagram would have been very helpful had we needed it. My son replaced the lost pins, re-mounted the doors, and re-connected the water supply in the door in under 15 minutes. Everything works perfectly!

one of the tabs that hold door broke off
Unplug the unit. Remove two screws under drip plate. Lift up control panel and slide off the ribbon plug on back of panel. Remove the shoot guard at bottom of ice shoop by taking out the two screws. Remove the two screws that hold the shoot assembly and pull panel out. Be careful of the water line and wires on the left side of panel. Shoot door slips into grooves on either side of solenoid rack. Be sure to get solenoid plunger back into bracket and reverse the procedure.

Ice chute in the door was broken. would not dispense ice.
I found and ordered the parts, printed off instruction. We received the parts 2-3 days later. My husband went off the instructions I printed off and repaired the ice chute door. It works great. Finally a nice feeling and not complicated. My husband was impressed that I found the parts so easy and that he fixed it. I also had ordered the return spring and strike. We did not use them, but thats ok. Through parts select and how easy to order and get instructions we saved a lot of money. I definitely would use partselect again. Thank you.
