For this model the ice maker is very easy to replace. All it takes is a phillips head screwdriver. There are two wire connections you have to unplug. Easy out easy in. The Ice Maker from Part Select was complete. Plastic housing, Ice maker located at the top and ice cruncher/dispenser at the bottom. Note: Both the ice maker and the dispenser wiring goes to a common connecter. It is not advisable to plan changing out only one of these.
