How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Review
The part was received in perfect condition and fast. I had no problem installing it. But did have to call when an error code appeared and it wasn't working. The rep suggested ways to solve the problem which was very helpful although I ended up installing it twice.

Exact Part I Needed - Quick Repair
I paid for standard shipping with an estimated arrival time of 2-3 days, but it took a full week for the part to arrive - guessing the delay was associated with the upcoming holidays. Once the part arrived, it was in great condition and was an identical match to my failed part. Replacement only took about 15 minutes, and the first tray of ice dumped about 2 hours later.

Exactly what we needed to make the repairs
We had issues with our original ice maker and was dreading having to go to The manufacture for it. Came across this site, during our research, and the had exactly what we needed at a reasonable price. This will defiantly be our first stop for future appliance parts.

Easy repair
My son replaced the ice maker and water dispenser in my LG refrigerator it took about 20 minutes and it works fine but the better part is that it saved me around $300. in repair expenses.

Ice maker stopped working
The Ice Maker from Part Select was complete. Plastic housing, Ice maker located at the top and ice cruncher/dispenser at the bottom. Note: Both the ice maker and the dispenser wiring goes to a common connecter. It is not advisable to plan changing out only one of these.

My ice maker leaks really badly. Does this part (612a) include all the parts pictured? I have replaced the ice maker assembly but it still leaks water around the assembly and ice dispenser bucket, down the door and around the gaskets. The ice freezes in a clump in the bucket. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. The 612A, Part Number: PS11710299 is the Ice Maker assembly, everything within the box that 612A is pointing to. The Bucket, Part Number: PS11709701 is not included. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
