When i hit the start button it beeps three times and will not start the cycle. The beeping will be 3 beeps every 15-20 secs
For model number GDF610PSJ0SS
Hello David, here is some steps to try to fix that issue:
Step 1
Stop the dishwasher from beeping at 30-second intervals by closing the door completely after opening it mid-cycle to add an item or soap or whatever. Simply press the door until it catches the latch to halt the beeping and resume the current cycle.
Step 2
Deactivate the normal double beeping to indicate the end of a cycle by depressing the "Heated Dry" button five times in succession within three seconds. You can re-activate this normal double beep notification by the same process.
Step 3
Allow the door to close completely and latch, and stop any beeping by sliding the lower and top rack all the way in to the dishwasher cavity and repositioning any dishes or utensils that may be blocking the door from closing snugly and the programmed cycle operating normally.

I recently had the detergent dispenser replaced, but after I run the unit, I discover that the detergent pod is sitting in the utensil basket, and the dishes are still dirty. The dishes were very hot to the touch though, but I did not note any water puddling in the bowls. This may be nothing.
Before the recent repair, the detergent pod was still in the dispenser, so logically I assumed the dispenser was the culprit.
I fear that I am facing many options... Such as the circulation pump, inlet valve, diverter valve...
The water supply is fully open; the water temperature is hot;
Any guidance would be appreciated.
For model number GDF610PSJ0SS
Hello Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve for any fault. If the water inlet valve is fine, then the issue is most probably with the circulation pump, part number PS11772000. It delivers water to the spray arms to clean your dishes. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!

Replaced the control board because the start light blinked indicating that the door was open. Once replaced the board with the new one, the start light went off, indicating that the door problem went away. However, all the lights go on, and once clicking the start button, nothing happens. All connctions are OK, but the machine does not syart. Any idea why?

Hello Pat, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the user control and display board for continuity. If it is working fine, then you may need to check the main control board, part number PS12726418, to solve the problem. We hope this helps.

Dishwasher was randomly beeping when not in use. Then eventually the display wouldn’t light up.
I first tested for 120volts to my dishwasher to verify it was getting power from my electrical panel. Then tested pins 2 and 5 on the control board to make sure there was 14 volts going to the user interface harness. After I verified that I knew it was the user interface that was bad. I watched a video I found on YouTube and followed it.

Took off the kickplate, diconnected the wires and removed the whole door by lifting straight up, removing spring wires from hinges. No water flowing into dishwasher
We tried cleaning out the filter and it clogged with a huge amount of gunk. We removed the gunk, scrubbed the filter, and tried running the dishwasher, but still no water. That took over an hour (not counting the time the dishwasher spent running). Then we tried your diagnosis center and it pointed to the flood switch or the water valve.

I extracted the flood switch (another 30-60 minutes) to check it, and it also contained gunk and (significantly) did not rattle, which made me suspect the flood switch was the problem, so I ordered one. Once the replacement arrived, I checked it and the flood switch rattled, confirming that it should work properly. I spent 30-45 minutes installing it, plus the filter assembly and racks I had to remove to access it. Ran the dishwasher and everything came out sparkling clean. I don't know where the gunk came from, but if you aren't getting water and the filter is full of gunk, check the flood switch.
