Configured User Interface Control Board Specifications
This is the user interface control board for various dishwashers. The user interface panel is what you directly interact with on your dishwasher to start and stop it and select the specific cycle you want. If your user interface panel is not responding and you have tested your dishwasher to ensure no other part could be at fault, it will need to be replaced immediately for it to regain function. Replacing this panel will requires some disassembly of your dishwasher, and will require tools like a screwdriver, wrench, and a pair of pliers. This OEM user interface panel measures approximately 14-inches wide and is sold individually.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

No power indications to top UI board
Diagnosing was probably the most difficult, as I am an experienced electronic tech for 40 years. through research i found that the schematics and service paperwork was included with my dishwasher mine was located in the front left corner of the frame behind the kick panel. These service instructions were ok for guide but not really helpfu
... Read morel in troubleshooting this fault. I found online the pinout output voltage from the main control board needed to be checked. however, this is not very easy to get a proper reading safely in such an awkward position. I ultimately scored the insulation back enough to get a set of clip leads and connect to my meter and obtain a reading. In my case there was voltage. I ordered the board and it arrived quick and installed. I cut and spliced together the wires I scored to make a reading but added an extra length of wire for service testing in the future.

No power at display panel
I ordered the part recommended.Replaced, still no power. The next part was going to be another $175.00.It was better to stop and get a refund than put $300.00 into a six year old.dishwasher.I should be getting a refund any day now.Parts select was very helpful in that regard.

Dishwasher was randomly beeping when not in use. Then eventually the display wouldn’t light up.
I first tested for 120volts to my dishwasher to verify it was getting power from my electrical panel. Then tested pins 2 and 5 on the control board to make sure there was 14 volts going to the user interface harness. After I verified that I knew it was the user interface that was bad. I watched a video I found on YouTube and followed it.

Dead dishwasher
It took a little googling and YouTubing to find the problem and solution, but once we had this UI board in hand, the installation was simple.
Most of the labor and little bit of struggle was taking the dishwasher door apart to get to the UI board.
Make sure to follow the instructions in the package to configure for y

Once the door was back together and reinstalled, she worked like a dream. The display also seems brighter to me. We haven't had the "random singing" that the dishwasher was doing before the original UI board went out either.

what does H20 show up on my control panel
For model number PDT715SMNOES
Hello Clair, Thank you for reaching out. A "H2O" error indicates the appliance is not receiving enough water. This can be caused by a low water pressure issue, maybe due to a kinked water supply hose, a closed water valve, or a problem with the water pressure itself. If the water supply tot he appliance is clear, you may have a faulty Water Valve. We hope this information helps!
