I'm trying to find for the GE washer the back plate for the timer knob, I believe it is part number wh45x10146 but I can't seem to find it.
For model number GCWP1800D0WW

Hello Violet, thank you for your question. The part wh45x10146 is a dryer drum. You may be looking for the Backsplash PS6011712 which has the writing on it. For example, whites, permanent press, load size etc. Or, maybe you are looking for the Dial PS1482363 ( that has a small indicator line or arrow) that goes directly behind the Timer knob. We hope to hear from you soon.

My dryer only stays on if I hold the start switch to on. When I release switch all cuts off...Everything else gets power and works when I hold the switch.I have replaced the start switch and the door switch. Is there a relay switch that I may be missing? Kindly assist
For model number GCWP1800D0WW

Hi Raymond, thank you for reaching out. As you have already replaced the start switch and the door switch, we would suggest checking the drive belt first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the drive motor and inverter assembly, part number PS8746234. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Washer starts but no water filling in tub.
For model number GCWP1800D0WW
PartSelect logo
Hi Janmes, Thank you for your question. If the washer is not filling with water, make sure that both the hot and cold water faucets are completely turned on and that they are in the proper position and not kinked. Then inspect the inlet hoses to see if they are clogged. If they are remove and clean them out. Place the hose ends into the tub or a bucket and turn on the faucet to verify that you have adequate pressure. If not, then remove the hose from the faucet and inspect the screens for dirt accumulation or damage. If you find any issues when performing the checks above, you will need replacement hoses and screens. If the inlet hoses and screens are fine, the issue may be with the water inlet valve. Before removing and inspecting the water inlet valve, unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. Then inspect the screens on the water inlet valve to see if there is debris or any damage. If they appear fine, you will need to test the water inlet valve for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. The reading should be between 200 and 500 ohms. If you get a reading outside this range, you will need a replacement water inlet valve. We hope this helps!

I spoke to a very nice young ladie who took my order and I received my order within two days. I pull the clasp off of the old knob and replace the knob and the clasp with the new part and it now works great. Thank you for helping me find the part I needed.

washing machine would not go through all cycles or agitate
After removing frt panel which prys off I checked for anything obvious like a loose belt. Then I jiggled the magnet switch located on the inside of the loading cover. I saw the machine start agitating the it stopped again when I stopped touching it. I ordered the new part and spliced it in with the wire crip tool. Now the machine is A ok.
