FRT21KG3EWB Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Followed video instructions which were to unplug refrigerator, on lower back use screwdriver, loosen 4 screws, take off plastic cover, pull out fan, replace with new fan, replace cover and 4 holding screws, plug in refrigerator. I am female, 77 years old and if I can do it, anyone can.

Snapped in the door rack. For the drawer support rail, just needed a screwdriver to attach the rail.

I worked for GM as a Frigidaire Tech, before starting my own business. I have retired now.
I took the three screws off the back of the bracket holding the motor. Disconected wire harness and pulled out the motor. Reverse to install. servantoftheking@hughes.net

removed the top shelve. Unscrewed the broken support rail and replaced it with the new one.Put the shelve back and I was done

There is nothing easier than this. You just take out the broken bar and put in the new one.
As easy as ABC....

I ordered the part, it arrived within 48 hours. I opened the fridge and put the shelf in perfectly!

I unscrewed the old handle. lined up the new handle and screwed it back in.

I called in because the model # of the refrigerator did not show up on the website. The cust. srvc. rep looked it up and found the part. It was reasonably priced, I received it in a matter of days and it fit perfectly. Thank you! We were preparing to put the condo on the market and broke the shelf while cleaning. I replaced the bulb using my hands to twist the bulb in the socket located at the top of the refrigerator.

grab gasket on a corner and pull...new gasket push raised rib into grove....your Done!!!

removed ice maker,,and screws holding back of freezer cover,unplugged wires and removed the cover and fan.wow,only wire to element had come unplugged!went ahead and replaced thermostat,and defrost timer,both were easy to do

The retainer bar was so easy I installed it in less than 5 minutes.

I easily removed the shelf, cleaned it, removed one screw, adjusted a tab that was bent, then installed new side rail with the screw that was removed and put back the shelf and storage bin. Everything worked perfectly. I must have saved $100 by doing it myself.
